As a leader in innovative manufacturing and engineering solutions for aerospace, defense and space markets, Ducommun actively supports and participates in community-based STEM programs and related initiatives that nurture and develop the next generation of creators, builders, technicians and innovators.
Ducommun is excited to share our 8th year sponsoring STEM on the Sidelines™ in partnership with the Los Angeles Chargers and the University of California, Irvine UCI Samueli School of Engineering. STEM on the Sidelines™ is a regional competition that promotes STEM (Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics) education. On November 8, 2025, twenty four teams from schools in Los Angeles and Orange County competed at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA for top honors.
