Ducommun Foundation

The Ducommun Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Ducommun Incorporated that supports community-based and humanitarian needs. Since its inception in 2019, The Ducommun Foundation has supported a wide range of programs and relief efforts. Some of the most recent charitable donations include:

Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation - Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation provides college and trade school scholarships, educational assistance, and career support to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. They are dedicated to serving the families of servicemembers from all branches of the armed forces who have died as a result of combat casualties, military training accidents, service-related illnesses, suicide, as well as other duty-related deaths as ruled by the Department of Veteran Affairs.

American Battle Monuments Foundation - American Battle Monuments Foundation honors the sacrifices of nearly 234,000 men and women who fought to protect our freedoms, died, and are buried or missing away from the homeland, as well as the millions of others who have served with honor and distinction when called to duty. The hallowed grounds of our American military cemeteries and memorials overseas stand as a tangible reminder of America's engagement with her allies in support of democracy.

Wounded Warriors Family Support - Wounded Warriors Family Support provides services for the loved ones of those who have been wounded, injured or killed during combat operations. The Ducommun Foundation supports this worthy organization's efforts to help the families of Wounded Warriors who are most in need.

Home Base - Home Base is a national nonprofit dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war for Veterans of all eras, Service Members, and Military Families of the Fallen through world-class, direct clinical care, wellness, education and research - all at no cost to them - regardless of era of service, discharge status or geographical location.

Fisher House Foundation - Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world.

Hire Heroes USA - Transitioning from the military to civilian life can be a monumental challenge. For veterans, finding a job after leaving the military is a critical success factor during this often challenging time. Employment assistance is the most frequently requested need among service members and their spouses. Hire Heroes USA is a nonprofit organization that empowers U.S. service members, veterans and military spouses to secure employment in the civilian workforce. Hire Heroes USA fulfills job search needs for thousands each year through personalized service and support. The Ducommun Foundation is proud to support Hire Heroes USA. With 52,000 confirmed hires, 22,000 job board postings, and 1,300 volunteers, Hire Heroes USA is the country's most effective veteran employment nonprofit.

U.S. Vets Initiative - U.S.VETS is on a mission to end veteran homelessness in the United States. "The streets" are simply no place for veterans; no place for the many men and women who volunteered, giving of themselves and their youth, to protect our great freedoms.

We believe all veterans deserve every opportunity to live with dignity and independence. It is our duty at U.S.VETS to deliver on our promise to always serve those who've served.
