Ducommun Foundation

The Ducommun Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Ducommun Incorporated that supports community-based and humanitarian needs. Since its inception in 2019, The Ducommun Foundation has supported a wide range of programs and relief efforts. Some of the most recent charitable donations include:

Maui United Way - Maui United Way works to address Maui's most vital needs through the impact areas of Education, Income (sustainability) and Health. When catastrophic wildfires forced Maui residents from their longtime homes and into an unknown future in early August, Maui United Way immediately transitioned to around-the-clock disaster response.

Maui Food Bank - Maui Food Bank's mission is to help the hungry in Maui County by collecting and distributing food through community partnerships. After the devastating wildfires, they worked to provide meals, fresh water and personal hygiene supplies to thousands of Maui residents whose homes and businesses were lost in the fire.

UNICEF USA - UNICEF USA is on the ground providing relief for numerous families and children who need medical care, food, water, clothing, and shelter after a massive Earthquake hit Syria and Turkey in early 2023. This earthquake tragically impacted lives, destroyed homes, displacing families throughout the region and now millions are now struggling with basic humanitarian needs.

Home Base - Home Base is a national nonprofit dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war for Veterans of all eras, Service Members, Military Families of the Fallen through world-class, direct clinical care, wellness, education and research - all at no cost to them - regardless of era of service, discharge status or geographical location.

Wounded Warriors Family Support - Wounded Warriors Family Support provides services for the loved ones of those who have been wounded, injured or killed during combat operations. The Ducommun Foundation supports this worthy organization's efforts to help the families of Wounded Warriors who are most in need.

Hire Heroes USA - Transitioning from the military to civilian life can be a monumental challenge. For veterans, finding a job after leaving the military is a critical success factor during this often challenging time. Employment assistance is the most frequently requested need among service members and their spouses. Hire Heroes USA is a nonprofit organization that empowers U.S. service members, veterans and military spouses to secure employment in the civilian workforce. Hire Heroes USA fulfills job search needs for thousands each year through personalized service and support. The Ducommun Foundation is proud to support Hire Heroes USA. With 52,000 confirmed hires, 22,000 job board postings, and 1,300 volunteers, Hire Heroes USA is the country's most effective veteran employment nonprofit.

U.S. Vets Initiative - U.S.VETS is on a mission to end veteran homelessness in the United States. "The streets" are simply no place for veterans; no place for the many men and women who volunteered, giving of themselves and their youth, to protect our great freedoms.

We believe all veterans deserve every opportunity to live with dignity and independence. It is our duty at U.S.VETS to deliver on our promise to always serve those who've served.

Fisher House Foundation - Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military & veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world.
