The Ducommun Foundation's Pandemic Relief Efforts Support the People & Communities Where We Live & Work

The Ducommun Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Ducommun Incorporated that addresses community-based and humanitarian needs. When the Coronavirus Pandemic shut down all but essential businesses in March 2020, there was both unprecedented need and opportunity to make a difference in the local communities in which Ducommun operates. The Ducommun Foundation funded $1.1 Million for local relief efforts that help the most vulnerable individuals and families impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

  • Charitable organizations were selected by Ducommun's 15 Performance Center leaders across the U.S. and donations were made by The Ducommun Foundation in April & May 2020.
  • The total donation amount was $1.1 Million, with an average of $72,000 per Ducommun Performance Center location.
  • California operations combined to make meaningful contributions to the Orange County United Way & Greater L.A. County United Way.
  • During Q3 2020, The Ducommun Foundation continued its support of underrepresented students and local communities through donations to NACME (National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering) for Student Scholarships and Los Angeles Urban League for LA County Small Business Recovery.
"In a time of unprecedented need, we stand by all those impacted by this pandemic," said Stephen G. Oswald, chairman, president & chief executive officer. "Ducommun wants to help our neighbors who are struggling, lift up individuals and families, and make a significant difference in our local communities."
