The Parsons, Kansas facility of Ducommun AeroStructures is a diversified manufacturing facility with modern equipment, skilled employees, and a commitment to quality production and customer service. The facility is located on a 22-acre tract. Two buildings with 150,000 square feet of space provide 95,000 square feet for manufacturing, with the rest dedicated to inspection, shipping, storage, and administrative areas.

The Parsons facility specializes in the fabrication of titanium, inconel, stainless steel, aluminum, and tool steels. We currently have a MIL-Q-9858A quality level and are D1-9000 approved. Our equipment is constantly updated to reflect advancements in technology and market demands.

We provide assembly of all types, doing metal-to-metal assembly, as well as kitting. We have a building dedicated just to kitting.

The Boeing Commercial Airplane Company considers this facility one of their centers of excellence for SPF and titanium forming. We have excellent quality and delivery. Our on-time delivery metrics from key customers are exceptional.

The manufacturing process at our Parsons facility is planned and controlled from order entry to shipment. We use a fully integrated PC network-based computer system developed by the facility specifically for the aerospace industry. All transactions are recorded and processed immediately in an online, real time environment.

On-site quality control includes processes for hardness, thickness and adhesion testing, and magnetic particle inspection. The state-of-the-art measuring equipment at Parsons is all calibrated and certified to N.I.S.T. standards.
