Modeling and Simulation of complex weapons systems and their components is the foundation of Miltec’s missile design and development capability. Just as a carpenter must have a hammer – a missile engineer must have an accurate simulation development environment to design, develop, and integrate the complex systems and algorithms that encompass a missile system. Our staff of highly experienced simulation, modeling, and analysis personnel has established a wide range of missile simulation tools ranging from the traditional FORTRAN Six Degree-of-Freedom (6-DOF) simulation to C-based simulations (MEGASIM) to the latest Aerospace Toolbox® based real-time simulation tool developed in the Matlab® Simulink® framework.
Miltec engineers have extensive knowledge and experience in real-time and non-real-time simulation applications and in modeling of tactical, theater, and strategic missile systems. Our missile simulation tools have supported everything from quick-look analysis and flyout fan generation to detailed non-real time simulations for pre and post flight analysis as well as supporting HWIL and SWIL analysis with real-time simulation operation.
In addition, Miltec offers expert experience with specialty modeling and simulation tools for design and development of major missile subsystems – propulsion, lethality, aerodynamics, radar cross sections, IR signatures, and computational fluid dynamics – just to name a few.
Modeling and simulation is limitless and can be applied to any engineering system from automobiles and helicopters to medical processes and beyond. Miltec, through our extensive experience, is uniquely qualified to address all of your simulation and modeling needs.
