The Graphic Designer differ from the Graphics Illustrator in that they are expected to interpret the publications, chart, poster, or exhibit in which they appear, while the Graphics Illustrator presents factual rather than interpretative material. The Graphic Designer prepares illustrations that are designed to reproduce the appearance of specific scientific and/or technical items or equipment.
