Ducommun AeroStructures - Gardena
268 E Gardena Blvd
Gardena, CA 90248
Formed in 1951 as Aircraft Hydro-Forming, or AHF, our Gardena facilities have always provided stretch formed products for the aircraft industry. By 1978, this facility was manufacturing parts in support of the Lockheed Martin Space Shuttle Program. In 1984, Ducommun and AHF joined forces, setting the stage for what is now Ducommun AeroStructures.
Our Gardena, California facility has the ability to manufacture large complex parts. Our forming and machining equipment, used primarily on aluminum and titanium alloys, are among the largest in the world.
These services include stretch forming, thermal forming, assembly, chem milling, NC machining and processing. Our Gardena facility complements its forming capabilities by using advanced ATA manufacturing processes that combine CAD/CAM engineering and numerically controlled 5-axis precision machining centers to produce large, complex aerospace structural components.
This "turn-key" capability provides Ducommun AeroStructures with a competitive advantage second to none in the aerospace markets. Our investment in sophisticated technology coupled with our reputation for quality has made us a valued supplier within the industry.
