This Jay-El/DMT MM4 switch contains 4P3T electromechanical switches designed for
cell sites with three antennas each receiving or transmitting over 120 degrees or
one-third of the coverage area for cellular telephone carrier or wireless applications.
Standard switching configurations employ four amlifiers, one for each antenna, plus
a spare. This MM4 4P3T awitch connects the input of four amlifiers with three signal
sources, and the output of four amlifiers with three antennas.
This switch features three input and three outputs with one redundant port. The
MM4 switch can replace three SPDT and SP3T switches or three transfer switches.
The MM series switches come in a various configurations: MM4(4P3T) through MM9(9P8T).
Higher configurations are available for special applications with modifications
as needed.
