Ducommun AeroStructures has facilities in five locations. While each is a center of excellence for specific capabilities, there is also modest overlap between facilities in order to facilitate expeditious and efficient workflow.

Southern California

Our four facilities in Southern California comprise almost 90% of our size, however our Parsons, Kansas facility duplicates many of these capabilities in a single Midwest location.

Gardena, California

Our Gardena facilities, which also houses the main offices of Ducommun AeroStructures, performs much of our large structures work. Specific services at this location include stretch forming, thermal forming, assembly, NC machining and processing for some of the largest, most complex structures in the aerospace industry. Our Gardena facility is within 20 minutes of two major airports, under 40 minutes from two more and under one hour from a fifth airport. If your structures need to travel by air, Gardena has you covered. You’ll also find Air Force Bases and other military airports nearby. If you need structures by ocean transport, we’re served by two of the major ports of the world. If by rail, we’re under 15 miles from two major rail stations, with a third just 35 miles away.

Monrovia, California

Monrovia is a center of excellence for our composites and bonding capabilities. As with our other facilities, Monrovia houses additional capabilities and has decades of performance in rotorcraft and aircraft control surfaces, among others. Monrovia is similarly located in close proximity to transportation centers. Within an hour are several major airports and rail facilities. Within 1½ hours are major sea ports.

Orange, California

This facility is home to our largest chem milling operations, with many other integrated capabilities. For more detail on the capabilities of this facility, please visit the Orange facility section of this website

Our facility in Orange is equally well-placed for transportation logistics, with several air, rail and sea terminals within a short distance.

El Mirage, California

Our El Mirage facilities also house chem milling capabilities, and a lot more. Some of the most sophisticated detail work is done in this facility where we can create larger work environments. Click on the El Mirage facility section for more specific details.

Parsons, Kansas

Strategically located in southeast Kansas, our Parsons facility integrates stretch forming, SPF forming, machining, assembly and kitting. You can read more details about this facility in the Parsons facility section of this website.

Parsons is just two hours from Wichita, two hours from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and four hours from St. Louis. Parson is also within easy driving range of Dallas, Texas. In other words, Parsons is in the heart of the U.S. and close to major Midwest aerospace centers.
